Everyday products, that can kill us- body peeling
Peelings are becoming more and more popular.
They have a wonderful effect of removing a dead skin, but research has discovered that they are one of the biggest threats to the aquatic ecosystem.
For many peelings are added the polyethylene micro granules, which later end up in wastewater. From there they go to rivers, seas, and oceans and at the end, they are eaten by fishes. Those fish then are served on our table and finally, the micro granules are eaten by us.
Plastic micro granules are insoluble in water and the time of biodegradation is very long. It is worth considering the use of such cosmetics and choose their natural replacements for the benefit of the whole earth.
