Protective Pomade with Monoi Oil
All-purpose body lotion stick with a refreshing scent of sweet mint and Tahitian gardenia flowers. A mix of mango butter, monoi oil, shea butter, beeswax, apricot kernel oil, candelilla wax and spearmint essential oil, this lotion is ideal for nourishing dry and mature skin.
Butters and oils in the product moisturize, soften and soothe the skin throughout the year, and especially after sunbathing. The product helps you care for the most dry areas of your body (hands, feet, knees and heels), intensely conditioning and regenerating.
Mango Seed Butter
Mango butter is obtained from the seeds of this delicious fruit through cold pressing. It is a natural emollient that softens the skin, especially parts exposed to harsh weather conditions. Pure mango butter can be used as a smoothing and moisturising lotion for dry, cracked, and sun-damaged skin.
It is obtained through the traditional enfluarage method of soaking the flowers of Tahitian gardenia for 15 days in coconut oil. This also gives it its wonderful scent. The properties of the gardenia, known as Tiare Tahiti – the Flower of Tahiti, have been known in Polynesia for ages. They’ve been used in aromatherapy to heal migraines, but also as a symbol of feelings, passion, and hospitality. It is also an ingredient of many famous perfumes.
Shea butter is the cold-pressed pulp of the shea tree native to Central Africa. It contains fats, waxes, vitamins, allantoin, terpenes, and sterols. On its own, it is almost a ready-made “skin care cream from Nature.” It creates a delicate film on the skin, protecting it from the sun, frost, and wind.
