Sage is delicate, very refreshing, slightly herbal and works great on the skin. The sage herb has large amounts of tannins (slightly astringent and antiseptic properties), phenolic acids (slightly exfoliating, brightening and antioxidant properties), saponins (enhancing the absorption of other active ingredients), flavonoids (bioactive compounds with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and detoxifying properties). Sage hydrolate helps the skin in many ways. Most importantly, it is suitable for acne-prone skin, using its antibacterial and disinfecting properties, and for normal and mature skin, thanks to the content of antioxidants, regenerates and balances the pH.
Sage hydrolate is great as a face toner- morning and evening, and as a hair mist, especially those with dandruff. In the case of excessively greasy hair, sprinkle it on the hair after each washing and do not rinse. Also, when the skin has a tendency to seborrhoea, ulceration or difficult-to-heal wounds.
Warning! Due to the high content of active ingredients, the hydrosol can cause temporary redness and irritation of the facial skin. It is recommended to try it on the inside of the wrist
